A. PENDAHULUAN

1.1 Latar Belakang

inovasi adalah suatu penemuan baru yang berbeda dari yang sudah ada atau yang sudah dikenal sebelumnya. Terdapat 2 pengertian inovasi menurut para ahli, yaitu:

1. E. Rogers, inovasi adalah suatu ide, gagasan, praktek, objek atau benda, yang disadari dan diterima sebagai sesuatu hal baru bagi individu atau kelompok untuk diadopsi.

1. Reigeluth, inovasi adalah suatu proses perubahan secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan dalam mencapai tujuan tertentu.

Tetapi inovasi yang ada bersifat subjektif karena sebagian orang menganggap hal tersebut adalah inovasi, ada juga sebagian orang yang menganggap bahwa hal tersebut bukan termasuk inovasi. Hal tersebut tergantung dengan pengalaman masing – masing individu atau kelompok di dalam masyarakat berbeda.

Maka dari itu, disini penulis berusaha untuk menganalisis suatu inovasi yang telah digunakan dalam pembelajaran, yaitu forum diskusi facebook untuk pembelajaran difusi inovasi Pendidikan.

1.2 Pertanyaan Survei

Apakah Forum Group Discussion IDP ini termasuk inovasi dalam mata kuliah ini?.

Kalau Anda jawab "YES", atau "NO" atau "YES & NO", berikan alasan mengacu pada teori Rogers & Reigeluth

1.3 Tujuan survei

1. Untuk mengetahui tingkat keinovatifan forum diskusi facebook pada mata kuliah difusi inovasi Pendidikan dan untuk mengetahui keaktifan mahasiswa di dalam forum disukusi facebook.

1.4 Manfaat hasil survei

1. Sebagai bahan untuk mengevaluasi hasil belajar siswa

2. Untuk melatih kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam membuat tabel

1.5 Responden survei

Mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan UNJ kelas C angkatan 2015 yang mengikuti maa kuliah difusi inovasi Pendidikan.

1.6 Teknik survei

Teknik yang digunakan dalam survei ini adalah analisis data, forum diskusi facebook, mata kuliah difusi inovasi Pendidikan.

B. HASIL SURVEI

Jumlah Mahasiswa     :  36 orang

a. Perhitungan dan tabulasi data mahasiswa yang sudah dan belum menjawab diskusi

“YES”, “NO” dan “YES & NO”.

b. Perhitungan dan tabulasi data mahasiswa yang menjawab

“YES”, “NO” dan “YES & NO”.

c. Perhitungan dan tabulasi data mahasiswa berdasarkan jawaban “YES” , “NO” dan “YES & NO” beserta kategorisasi/klasifikasi alasan yang diberikan

C. PEMBAHASAN

Berdasarkan hasil survei yang ada, terdapat 3 kesimpulan dari jawaban saya. Yang pertama dilihat dari kesadaran mahasiswa akan pentingnya menanggapi forum diskusi facebook. Jumlah mahasiswa yang menjawab forum diskusi facebook pada saat itu berjumlah 25 orang, sedangkan yang tidak menjawab ada 11 orang. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu mahasiswa kurang sadar akan pentingnya bersosialisasi dalam menjawab pertanyaan di diskusi online yang telah disediakan, hal lain yang menyebabkan mahasiswa tidak menjawab adalah tidak adanya akses internet maupun kuota internet mahasiswa.

Pertanyaan kedua tentang berapa banyak mahasiswa yang menjawab “YES” , “NO” dan “YES & NO”. Disitu dapat diihat, 18 orang mengatakan bahwa forum diskusi ini adalah inovasi karena forum ini merupakan hal baru yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran dan sifatnya menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan. Sedangkan 4 orang menyatakan bahwa forums diskusi online ini bukanlah termasuk inovasi karena sudah pernah melakukan diskusi online melalui facebook sebelumnya. Sisanya ada 3 orang berasumsi bahwa forum diskusi online ini bisa dikatakan sebagai inovasi dan bisa juga tidak karena didasari oleh teori Rogers dan Reigeluth. Terdapat ciri – ciri dari teori tersebut yang mengatakan bahwa forum diskusi online ini adalah inovasi, forum diskusi online ini merupakan hal yang baru digunakan dalam pembelajaran, forum ini merupakan reinvention karena forum ini memiliki fungsi yang baru, yang biasanya digunakan untuk hubungan sosial, komunikasi maya, akan tetapi dalam hal ini digunakan sebagai sarana penunjang pembelajaran.  Ada juga yang berpendapat forum ini yang tidak sesuai dengan ciri – ciri dari inovasi seperti, inovasi ini tidak menyeluruh dan hanya digunakan hingga akhir perkuliahan atau tidak berkelanjutan.

  

D. KESIMPULAN

Dari pembahasan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa, sesuatu dapat dikatakan inovasi jika dilihat dari sudut pandang orang yang menggunakan inovasi tersebut. Karena setiap individu memiliki sudut pandang yang berbeda-beda. Dapat juga  dilihat dari pengertian inovasi menurut para ahli, apakah inovasi yang dilakukan sesuai dengan pengertian inovasi tersebut atau tidak

Dari forum diskus online ini, dapat dilihat juga sebagai inovasi yang baru bagi saya. Karena saya pertama kali melakukan diskusi online melalui facebook dan itu merupakan suatu inovasi bagi saya.
